Valases is designed to support candidates, recruiters, interviewers, and administrators with different access needs. We are preparing a formal WCAG 2.2 Level AA audit before general public availability.
Current design practices
- Semantic headings, labels, landmarks, and keyboard-operable controls.
- Visible focus states and minimum touch-target considerations.
- Responsive layouts, text reflow, reduced-motion support, and non-color status cues.
- Clear assessment instructions, save state, timing information, and error feedback.
Formal audit timing
The first independent audit should happen after the core recruiter and candidate workflows are feature-stable but before general availability. Remediation must be completed before broad customer onboarding. Re-test after significant workflow or component changes and at least annually.
Known review scope
The audit will cover the public website, recruiter workflows, candidate invitation and consent, assessment preflight, timed task environments, submission and recovery, dialogs, tables, charts, and administrative controls across keyboard, screen reader, zoom, contrast, and mobile use.
Accommodation support
Candidates should contact the inviting organization before starting an assessment to request an accommodation or alternative process. Product accessibility feedback can be sent to accessibility@valases.com.
